Fox and director Bryan Singer’s big Marvel drama pilot has found its first mutant. According to EW, the untitled project has cast former ‘Passions’ actor Blair Redford [ex-Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald] in the role of Sam.
Sam is “the strong-headed Native American leader of the underground network.” The upcoming primetime drama will tell the story of two ordinary parents who discover their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.
Redford is also known for playing the role of Scotty Grainger on ‘The Young and the Restless’.
