General Hospital’s Emmy award winning Alley Mills has once again earned herself an accolade in being selected as this week’s Performer of the Week in all of Daytime!
The shocking deaths of Spencer Cassadine and Esme Prince have shattered the hearts of prominent families all across Port Charles.
While the majority of the cast mourned the loss of Spencer last week, as common for General Hospital, perspective was given to those who loved and lost the antagonist of a story told. Personifying that grief was Alley Mills as Heather Webber.
Just recently Alley Mills walked away with the “Outstanding Guest Actor in a Daytime Drama” Emmy for 2023 and the question on everyone’s lips was “When will Heather return?”
Alley Mills Is the Performer of the Week!
There wasn’t long to wait and already Mills is collecting scenes that would once again drop the jaws of award-season voters when it comes time to make a selection. Alley as Heather took a turn around the canvas and cast, giving viewers a special treat in the characterization of Heather Webber.
Undeniably insane, Heather was staunchly on the side of her daughter Esme. Every move Heather has made as of late has been to protect Esme from the fallout of her criminal choices. Now that her mission has ultimately failed, there were key players that Heather feels has earned the blame.
The regret and grief was at an apex in Alley’s performance. She left nothing unsaid to those who impacted Esme the most, and who would impact the future of Heather’s grandson Ace Cassadine.
