Soap Opera News named Jacqueline MacInnes Wood Performer of the Week for her outstanding work as Steffy Forrester Finnegan on The Bold and the Beautiful.
This week, the three-time Daytime Emmy award-winning actress delivered an adept performance as Steffy navigated a whirlwind of shocking revelations. She had to come to grips with the fact that Luna is Finn’s biological child—the same Luna who had killed two men and once locked her in a cage. To make matters even more complicated, Steffy discovered that Luna wasn’t even in prison; instead, she was on house arrest at Bill Spencer’s luxurious manor.
Steffy, filled with rage, shock, and disbelief, went straight over to the mansion to confront her new stepdaughter. She had some choice words for her. It was the kind of dramatic showdown that soap fans live for, keeping everyone on the edge of their seats, popcorn in hand, eagerly anticipating what would come next. It was clear: these two ladies (Lisa Yamada and Wood) had created television gold.
Jacqueline never fails when placed in a position to dig deep into her acting chops and bring across incredible range and convey such intense emotions. Congratulations to Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, who has been named Soap Opera News’ Performer of the Week! Job well done! (Photo: JPI)
