Abigail Klein (Stephanie Johnson, Days of our Lives), undisputedly takes the spotlight as the performer of the week.

This week there were some remarkable performances by daytime soap opera actors, with names like Blake Berris (Everett), Laura Wright (Carly, GH), Sharon Case (Sharon, Y&R), Kristen Vaganos (Molly), Kate Mansi (Kristina), and Romy Park (Poppy, B&B). Nonetheless, Klein’s portrayal stood out, earning her the title of performer of the week.

In the latest episodes of Days of our Lives, Stephanie and Jada (Elia Cantu) rushed to Bobby/Everett’s suite at the Salem Inn only to discover him unconscious in bed. Upon searching, they found a suicide note on the laptop. In a heart-wrenching moment, Stephanie pleaded with Everett to hold on, and as he briefly regained consciousness, he confessed that he fought so hard to get back to her. Unfortunately, Everett died.

As he drew his last breath, Stephanie’s anguish was palpable as she couldn’t hold back the tears. Klein flawlessly conveyed all of Stephanie’s emotions, leaving viewers profoundly moved. Clearly, she was at the top of her game as her performance resonated deeply and tugged at our heartstrings.

Klein’s work undoubtedly deserves this accolade. Congratulations to her for being selected Soap Opera News’ performer of the week.
