Gregory Harrison (Gregory Chase, General Hospital) is the performer of the week!
General Hospital witnessed some outstanding fashion looks this week during the wedding of Brook Lynn and Chase. However, what truly stole the show were the exceptional performances by the cast. Jane Elliot delivered a truly poignant and emotional scene with the bride, while Wally Kurth as Ned and Rena Sofer as Lois also showcased wonderful moments with the bride. Nevertheless, the standout performance came from Gregory Harrison, who delivered a truly superb portrayal in his scenes this week.
Gregory’s character has been grappling with an ALS diagnosis, and his symptoms have progressed. Yet, despite the challenges, he was resolute in officiating his son’s wedding. As the ceremony began and Gregory stood at the altar in his officiating role, the emotions ran high as he struggled to breathe and speak. Still, he persevered to see the ceremony through, delivering an excellent performance. Gregory’s portrayal was raw, visceral, and heart-wrenching, establishing him as a legend in the field of acting. While it was heartbreaking to watch, it was executed beautifully.
Congratulations to Gregory Harrison on being named the performer of the week.”
