Michael Easton (Hamilton Finn, General Hospital) is the performer of the week.
There were numerous outstanding performances this week on General Hospital, serving as a powerful reminder of the reasons we cherish this genre. Maurice Benard delivered an incredible performance in the intense scene with Evan Hofer’s Dex, while Kate Mansi brought down the house with Kristina’s reaction to witnessing Sonny’s actions. Additionally, Josh Swickard as Chase and Jophielle Love as Violet displayed incredible reactions to Gregory’s death. And let’s not forget Dominic Zamprogna as Dante Falconeri in those scenes with Sonny. However, it was Michael Easton who truly stood out with his exceptional performance this week.
This week, after dropping off his daughter Violet at school, Finn returned to the apartment and called out for his father. When he received no response, Finn entered the room and found his father’s lifeless body in bed. Easton’s compelling performance in this poignant scene has undoubtedly added Emmy-worthy material to the episode.
Easton skillfully portrayed Finn’s heart-wrenching experience bringing viewers to tears. His powerful acting conveyed the raw emotion, leaving no doubt that he is a top candidate for next year’s Emmy awards. Congratulations to Michael Easton on being named the performer of the week.
