On B&B this past week, Brooke Logan struggled to put the
pieces together to figure out how and why she relapsed on New Year’s Eve. She woke up in bed next to Deacon and automatically
thought the worst [that they slept together] but he reassures her that they did
not. However, they did kiss. Brooke is confused on why she is
hungover. She slowly starts to remember
that she drank Vodka with Deacon, but she can’t pinpoint what triggered her to
do so. She later on confides in Ridge
and Hope that she relapsed, but leaves out the fact that Deacon was with her
and that they kissed. Ridge attends an
AA meeting with Brooke. Lang did a
phenomenal job in bringing fans along for the roller-coaster of emotions that
Brooke went through: confusion, embarrassment, fear, disappointment, to name a few. Fans could feel Brooke’s devastation through
Lang’s powerful performance. Before
Brooke tells Ridge she drank, she prefaces it with, “I know you’re going to be
disappointed in me because I’m already disappointed in myself”. Lang shows that Brooke is scared to tell her
husband what happened through the fear in her voice and not giving too much eye
contact matched with her closed off body language. Brooke is not only scared in disappointing
him, she’s scared she’ll lose him. After
she tells him she drank, Lang displayed the perfect blend of all of Brooke’s different
emotions as she buried her face in her hands as she cried before leaning into
Ridge. When Brooke speaks at the AA
meeting, Lang showed Brooke’s strength combined with her frustration with herself
and the situation. Fans can’t wait to
see what happens next as Brooke continues to figure out what exactly happened that
night and they are excited for the material Lang will get to perform because
they know she will continue to knock her scenes out of the park!
The Bold & The Beautiful
Paris & Carter talk about their kiss and acknowledge
there is a spark there. Carter doesn’t
want to get in the way of Paris and Zende, but admits he has admiration for
Paris.
Brooke tells Deacon he is no longer allowed in her home and
she later tells Hope the same. Hope is
crushed that Brooke doesn’t want him around.
Hope can tell something is up with her mother, but can’t figure out what
it is. When she goes to confront her,
Brooke admits to her she drank on New Year’s Eve. Hope feels awful and later tells Liam that
she feels bad that she left her that night and that her mother didn’t reach out
to her when she was struggling. Liam
tells her all they can do is be there for Brooke now. Douglas tries to tell them that he saw “grandma
kissing Santa Clause”, but before Hope can ask him what he means, Liam cuts
Douglas off [assuming he’s referencing a song and getting the lyric wrong when
in actuality he means he saw Brooke kiss “Santa” aka Deacon].
Sheila visits Taylor to thank her again. Taylor tells her she might have helped a bit
with Sheila seeing Finn and Hayes for the holiday, but it’s ultimately up to
Steffy and Finn to decide how involved Sheila is in their lives and that she
has to accept their boundaries. Sheila
mentions that Brooke doesn’t want her around and Taylor can sense she is angry
toward her and is fearful that Sheila will act out toward Brooke.
General Hospital
Nina drops off Sonny at the penthouse and when Sonny tries to
fill her in on his conversation with Carly; Nina tells him it’s none of her
business. She tries to convince him that
their feelings were buried at the Tan-O and that she wishes he can work things
out with Carly. Ava visits Nina at
Crimson and Ava can sense that Nina is still in love with Sonny and she tries
to convince Nina that he still has feelings for her too and that he is torn between
Carly and Nina. Nina starts to wonder if
she and Sonny stand a real chance if things don’t work out for him and
Carly. When she confides in Phyllis, Phyllis
tells her she should back off and not act on her feelings.
Meanwhile, Sonny has another heart to heart with Dante about
his conflicted feelings for Nina and Carly.
He wants to be with Carly, but admits he still has feelings for Nina and
that he can’t seem to get rid of them.
He goes back home to Carly and Carly confronts him again. This time, he admits he still has feelings for
Nina. He tries to deflect by mentioning
he was Mike when he was with Nina, but that Carly was herself when she fell for
Jason. Carly dodges by telling him the
difference is that she was honest about Jason whereas Sonny kept Nina a
secret. She asks for details on what
happened between them and when Sonny refuses to answer, she walks out. Alone, he recalls when Nina told him she honestly
fell in love with him after he got his memory back.
Peter wakes up from his coma and talks to Victor. He tells him he’ll give him means on activating
Drew’s conditioning in exchange for Maxie and Louise. He asks for Martin to be his lawyer and
Martin agrees to it. Felicia and Anna
want to team up to find Louise, which concerns Maxie. Tracy pieces together that Bailey is Louise
and attempts to tell Ned, but is interrupted when Dante arrests her. BLQ tells Maxie that she thinks Tracy is on
to them and Maxie says they need to come up with a plan to stop Tracy from telling
anyone.
Sasha attempts to go back to work full time as she wants a
distraction from grieving the loss of her son even though everyone thinks she’s
returning too soon. After seeing Bailey
at Deception, she struggles to keep it together. Brando and Gladys discuss how he and Sasha
are coping differently.
Ava tells Spencer that he’d be working at the art gallery
under Trina in order to pay back restitution to her. She lets him know it’s not so much about the
help or the money, but rather that she wants him to make amends with
Trina. He’s fearful he won’t be able to,
but is willing to try. Trina is hurt
that Ava wasn’t upfront with her about her plan, but agrees to it.
Ned decides that he wants to officially adopt Leo and that
he and Olivia will renew their wedding vows.
Olivia shares this news with Carly, when she also tells Carly how can
she be mad at Sonny for not being able to fully commit to her because of Nina
when she can’t do the same because of Jason?
Tracy tells Laura that Luke died in a cable car
accident. Laura shares the news with
Bobbie who insists someone must be behind the accident.
Alexis goes to Charlie’s and almost drinks, but Harmony
stops her from doing so. Later on, Alexis
gets offered a job at the Invader by Shawn and she accepts.
Days Of Our Lives
Roman tries to hire Steve to find Phillip, but he has already
been hired to try to find Kristen. Kate
later tells Roman the truth about Phillip and his plan and Roman agrees to keep
the secret. Kayla tells Steve that she’ll go with him to help find Kristen.
Maggie hires Abigail to find Sarah which upsets Gwen. Jennifer encourages Jack to make amends with
Gwen. Jack is confused as to why it bothers
Gwen that Abigail will be searching for Sarah. Abby reluctantly agrees to have
Xander assist her in her search. Jack
and Jennifer plan on leaving town for a while.
The Devil has taken over Johnny but Johnny is able to make a
brief appearance as himself on New Year’s Eve with Chanel, Allie, and
Tripp. Johnny tells John and Marlena
that he and Chanel got married. Paulina
wants to throw a wedding reception for them.
The Devil wins over Johnny and breaks up with Chanel. Johnny being possessed by the Devil causes
Susan to get sick.
Nicole finds Duke shred to pieces and tells Rafe that she
thinks Sami is behind it. Rafe later asks
Ava if she had anything to do with it.
She asks him what would motivate her to do so?
Lucas and Sami leave town together and Nicole rubs it in EJ’s
face. She also is not convinced that
Lucas was behind Sami’s kidnapping. She
has no intention of reconciling with EJ.
Meanwhile, Kate gets Chad to confess that Lucas found the evidence that
incriminated EJ and shares his suspicion that he thinks Lucas is the one who
kidnapped Sami.
The Young & The Restless
Chelsea is upset when her attempt to get Adam back doesn’t
work and she is further upset when she sees him and Sally spending New Year’s
together. Chloe tries to run interference
in the Sally/Adam/Chelsea triangle by trying to convince Adam he shouldn’t get
together with either of them. Chelsea
suggests firing Sally after getting into a verbal dispute with her. Chelsea asks Adam with assistance in
convincing Connor that moving out of the penthouse will be good for everyone.
Victoria wanted to stage a fight between her and Billy, but
Traci interrupts their plan. Traci suggests
that Adam and Billy make peace. She also
doesn’t want Victoria to use her brother to stick it to her own. After Billy catches Sally spying on him
again, he comes clean with Adam about his plan and later informs Victoria that
they no longer have a deal. Billy tells
Traci he has agreed to back off and will focus on working with Lily. Adam projects his anger on Sally. Victoria is still determined to take over
Newman Media.
Sharon & Rey celebrate their anniversary together on the
holiday. Moses gets a chess themed charm
bracelet for Faith. Elena makes it clear
that she and Nate are together when Imani tries to pursue Nate.
Chance confides in Abby that he’s afraid he’ll never bond
with the baby the way everyone else has.
Abby later tells Devon that she does not want to make any changes to
their standing agreement regarding Dominic.
Amanda reminds Devon that he could take legal action. Chance is hopeful that Rey can convince Paul
to let him rejoin the police department.
However, he tells Abby he has decided to not go back to work for now. Devon decides he does want more legal
visitation rights to Dominic.
