On last week’s Days of Our Lives, Sami Brady (Alison
Sweeney) finds out during her wedding to Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) that he
was the one who kidnapped her and not EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). Sami is initially in denial when Chad DiMera
(Billy Flynn) storms into the chapel to stop the wedding and reveals Lucas as
the kidnapper and accuses him of murdering his wife, Abigail DiMera (Marci
Miller) since Abby knew Lucas’ secret.
When Lucas ultimately confesses, Sami is devastated, shocked, and heartbroken. Sweeney always delivers whenever
she stops in to visit Salem and this time was no exception. Fans could feel and see Sami’s heart shatter
into pieces through Sweeney’s powerful performance. Later on, Sami runs to EJ to let him know
what happened at the chapel only to be stunned to find out that EJ slept with her
sister, Belle Brady (Martha Madison).
Sami tore into both EJ and Belle for betraying her and Sweeney was
entertaining in her scenes as always. Sweeney then had touching scenes with Lindsay Arnold who plays her TV
daughter, Allie Horton, when Allie tries to comfort her heartbroken
mother. At the end of the week’s
episodes, Sami stops by to see EJ to let him know that she won’t be getting
back together with him and that this time, she’s choosing to leave town alone. Sweeney had a lot of heavy material and she
made it seem effortless. She finds a way
to mix a bit of humor into all of the drama and chaos while having chemistry
with all of her scene partners, it’s no wonder why fans love her and look
forward to her appearances on Days of Our Lives. Bravo, Sweeney!

with it.
