Our Performer of the Week is Days of Our Lives’ Freddie Smith!

As soon as Sonny found out the truth behind his mother’s death we were anxiously awaiting his meeting with Christian. Sonny confronted a remorseful Christian about his lies and crime. Freddie did a fantastic job with the heated scenes as he expressed Sonny’s anger and heartbreak. And can we just say that it is such a shame how Christian’s character arc has turned out? We love the on-screen chemistry with those two!

Our Honorable Mention is General Hospital’s Steve Burton!

This 2020 Daytime Emmy nominee showed us this week exactly how he earned that honor. Jason was at his friend Sonny’s side as he struggled to deal with his father’s health decline. In a moment of openness and emotion that we don’t usually get from Jason, he spoke on how he would want his own life to end if he reached Mike’s state. He wasn’t telling Sonny what to do. Just guiding him through a difficult situation with an outside view. Steve did a wonderful job with the touching scenes.
