Performer of the Week: General Hospital’s Cynthia Watros!
Whether you like what Nina has done or not, there is no denying the talent behind the character! Daytime Emmy-winner Cynthia Watros showed off this week as Nina pleaded with Jax to keep her secret about keeping Sonny in the dark about his identity. Her performance was raw and emotional. We see you Emmy reel! It almost made us feel sorry for Nina. Her troubled past may have been a factor in her decision to separate “Mike” from Sonny and his family but revenge was certainly part of the equation too.

Billy’s investigation into Ashland didn’t sit well with Victoria. But he may be on to something as he learned that Ashland’s past had been scrubbed from record. Chloe warned Sally about getting involved with Adam. Abby started to become worried about Mariah’s attachment to the baby as Mariah struggled with the aftermath of her kidnapping and separation from Dominick. To thank Nate for helping him, Ashland donated a substantial amount of money to fund a new hospital wing. He also surprised everyone by asking Nate to be his best man at his upcoming wedding. Adam confronted Victor on his old habit of trying to control his life when he summoned Sally to the Ranch to steer her away from him. Sharon advised Adam on how to broach the future with Connor and Chelsea. Jack admitted to Phyllis that he was still in love with her.
The Bold and the Beautiful
Steffy was put on alert when Finn told her that Sheila had collapsed in their home. Sure that she was faking her illness, she tried to get him to see that Sheila was manipulating him. Ultimately, he was forced to make a choice between Sheila and Steffy. His choice of forgoing a relationship with his biological mother set Sheila off. Eric and Quinn began their journey to figuring out the dynamics of their relationship sans intimacy. Eric then surprised Quinn when he invited Carter to come over to the house to discuss their feelings.
Days of Our Lives
Bonnie’s dreams of happily ever after with Justin went down in flames after she stole Xander’s money and accidentally killed Calista when she tried to kill her. However, the missing money put Xander in a tight spot with EJ, who was unwilling to wait anymore. Realizing that there was no way around it, Gwen decided to tell Jack the truth about her miscarriage. Ciara broached the subject of having a baby, but Ben wanted to hold off for the time being. Jack tried to get Julie, who was in denial, to see that Doug was showing signs of Dementia. It wasn’t until he didn’t remember who Alice was that she began to see the truth. Philip found out about the spy program on his computer and confronted Gabi and Jake about it. Gabi was able to use Philip’s hatred for Brady against him, making him believe that Brady had made the move against him. Chloe was also put in a difficult position when Philip asked her to quit her job at Basic Black. Paulina and Abe talked about their future together, which might include marriage. Nicole lied to Ava, pretending that she didn’t have feelings for Rafe. The opening of Chanel and Allie’s bakery wasn’t the first thing on their minds as they continued to struggle with their feelings for each other. While Johnny’s theory about Allie and Chanel left Tripp apprehensive. After EJ advised him to go after his wife, Chad tracked Abby down.
General Hospital
Ava got a restraining order against Nikolas to protect them from potential threats. Trina becomes suspicious of Esme, thinking she is the one messing with Ava. Jax shocked Nina when he showed up in Nixon Falls. She begged him for his silence after he ran into Sonny and realized he had no memory of his past life. She then realized that the jig was up and she planned on telling “Mike” the truth but then Peter showed up. Curtis and Portia ran into Jordan during their investigation. Jordan was attacked by a man before she and Portia were trapped in a basement with a gas leak. Luckily, Curtis was able to rescue them. However, the exposure left Jordan fighting for her life. Portia was left with the notion that she needed to tell Trina “the truth about her father.” Carly and Jason recalled their old unresolved feelings and how their upcoming marriage wouldn’t just be one of perception. Brando asked Sasha to move in with him. Brook Lynn tried to get Maxie to spend time with Austin as a distraction. Austin opened up to Ned about his suspicions regarding Leo’s behavior, wanting him to see a specialist. The five families planned to make a move on the Corinthos’ warehouses during the wedding.
