WOW! Our reaction after watching this week’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, aired Thursday, March 27, was nothing short of awe. This all-female-focused episode, masterfully written and directed by multi-Emmy award winner Heather Tom, truly sealed the deal for us: Annika Noelle and Katherine Kelly Lang, crowned as Soap Opera News’ Performers of the Week!
Carter’s decision to tear up the LLC papers and return to the fashion house to the Forresters certainly stirred the pot. Steffy decided that Carter could hold on to his positions—and despite her turbulent history with Brooke, so could she too. But as for Hope, she had to go.
However, Hope was not willing to leave without her partner by her side. Yet he decided to remain at Forrester. This resulted in Hope’s decision to end their relationship. Following an emotional disagreement with Carter (Annika Noelle truly excelled in these scenes), Hope went over to her mother’s house, where emotions ran high in yet another confrontational scene filled with hurtful exchanges. In the end, Brooke demanded Hope get out of her home.
These moments were powerful—a true masterclass by both Katherine Kelly Lang and Noelle. Their performances were Emmy-worthy and deserve every accolade. Congratulations to the performers of the week!
