The Young and the Restless’ Michael Mealor and Allison Lanier are the performers of the week!

The Young and the Restless fans have been on the edge of their seats since the moment Victor and Nikki revealed their plans for a grand event aimed at drawing Jordan out of hiding. While it was no surprise that Jordan couldn’t resist the temptation, what nobody foresaw was Jordan involving little Harrison in her vengeful scheme. The storyline encompasses every parent’s greatest fear: their missing child.

This week on Y&R, following the party at the Jazz Lounge, a significant chain of events unfolded. Claire stumbled upon Harrison’s lucky charm and took it to the Abbott Mansion. During her visit, Kyle suggested she linger a little longer, providing an opportunity for him to get to know her better. When Harrison came downstairs and discovered Claire and that she found his lucky charm, he asked if she could read him a book. Kyle allowed it, despite Claire’s initial hesitation.

However, things took a sudden turn when they got upstairs and Harrison left for the bathroom. Jordan seized the opportunity to cause chaos and she knocked out Claire. Kyle was left in a frantic and emotional state as he tried to involve the authorities upon realizing his son was missing. This harrowing event led Kyle to question his judgment of Claire and blame himself for allowing her into their son’s life. When Summer came along and found out what was happening, she struggled to come to terms with the situation. Although many believed that Claire was not responsible for the abduction and that Jordan was the true culprit, Summer remained steadfast in her differing opinion.

While undoubtedly, a child going missing is every parent’s worst nightmare, fans got the opportunity to witness Allison Lanier and Michael Mealor delivering exceptional performances. Their portrayal of Summer and Kyle’s emotions was so compelling that there was no doubt they would be the standout performers of the week. They skillfully conveyed anger, confusion, frustration, anxiety, and fear, earning a well-deserved standing ovation. Congratulations to Michael Mealor and Allison Lanier for their outstanding achievements as performers of the week.

  1. How long the writers planning to have Jordan out there doing harm to the Newmans and the Abbots. To me that is very poor writing.
