Performer of the Week: General Hospital’s Kirsten Storms:
We just adore Kirsten Storms! Maxie has certainly been through the wringer lately. She is desperately trying to find a way to keep her child safe from its father. It had to be such a shock to the system to go from planning a life with a man you loved to now plotting to hide your baby from him for protection. Kirsten delivered a wonderful performance as she opened up to Brook Lynn about all the anger, fear, and guilt she has about Peter.
Honorable Mention: The Young and the Restless’ Joshua Morrow & Sharon Case!
There is something so magical about Morrow and Case when their characters are faced with heartbreaking news. They portray the fear of parents whose child is in danger with such realism and conviction that you just can’t help but cry along with them. Having already lost one child, finding out that Faith has an infection that is leading to kidney failure was terrifying. Nick and Sharon were lost with how to help their daughter as they desperately searched for a potential match to her rare blood type in the hopes of doing a transplant. Beautiful performances from both!
