The biggest Days of Our Lives news to come out this year was the return of supercouple Bo and Hope! It was announced weeks ago that Kristian Alfonso and Peter Reckell would be reuniting onscreen, as the beloved duo for the Days spin-off, Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem (Chapter 2), a 5 episode mini-series that will begin airing on Peacock Premium on July 11th, 2022! But, Reckell will also be back on the NBC daytime drama for some special ghost appearances before heading over to the spin-off.
We now also know they will be dropping into Salem as well, appearing on Days of Our Lives. During an interview with Alfonso on Access Hollywood, Reckell told us how the really most sincerely dead Bo Brady will make his return to the sudser!
“I came back to the show for just a couple shows as a ghost to help out the…anyway, to help out the family.” Reckell shared, seeming to catch himself spoiling but continuing since he had already let the cat out of the bag.
Days fans know that Bo and Hope’s daughter Ciara is currently in labor and being aided in her delivery by Allie who, unbeknownst to Ciara, is possessed by the Devil! It appears that her father’s ghost could be the one to save the day! What a wonderful welcome that would be for Bo’s grandson and namesake!
