On October 8, 2024, at Masseria Grieco—an authentic resort in Puglia, Italy—Christel Khalil (Lily, The Young and the Restless) married Sam Restagno in front of their family and friends. And guess what? Her onscreen brother, Bryton James (Devon Hamilton) and Jason Thompson (Billy) were there too.

Khalil and Restagno have been dating for years. It was in the summer of 2018 that she revealed that she had been dating Canadian businessman Sam Restagno, who works in private equity. The two met back in 2016 at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California. After years of dating, they got engaged in 2022.
In June 2023, Khalil shared the news that she was pregnant with her second child, the first one with Restagno, and the baby boy was born in 2024. Khalil has a son, Caden (Bryton James is his godfather) from her previous marriage to Stephen Hensley.
