Now that Ciara (Victoria Konefal) is presumed dead on Days of Our Lives, what will Ben do? Robert Scott Wilson, the actor who plays the role of Ben Weston on the NBC daytime drama, spoke with Soap Hub about him and his character’s future on the soap.
The burning question is would Wilson be leaving the show. In regards to this he told the website, “[The fans] are all freaking out. They all think I’m going to leave, and I haven’t said too much about it. But as long as they’re writing for me… as long as I’m not just floating by in the story at DAYS, I don’t plan on leaving. I’ve found someplace where I want to give it my all, and I expect that on both sides. As long as they’re writing for me, I’m not going anywhere.”
He also spoked in regards to a new romance for Ben and particularly the rumors of Ben and Claire hooking up. “sure that friendship will develop,” the actor said. “They’ve both lost a huge part of their lives with Ciara,” says Wilson. “So we’ll see. Isabel Durant is a great actress. She’s new to daytime, but she’s a pro. She’s definitely experienced. We’ll see what happens. You never know.”
