Soap Vet, Robin Strasser will not be returning as Vivian Alamain on Days of Our Lives, a role she took over for Louise Sorel when the actress was available to return. According to Strasser who made her debut in September 2019, Days told her she won’t be returning. She wrote, “so it’s clear to all who may overhear us: #Days told me eve of #YomKippur that they won’t be using me again as #VivianAllamain To be clear: I’m AVAILABLE for other projects & maybe 100K peeps might come watch;-)” When a fan responded “Shame on #DOOL,” Strasser replied, “NO SHAME on anyone Kathy:) #DOOL got a great pinch hitter when they got me-lol. Their ratings went up which is always a win for any TV show! I showed up when they said they needed me-win! Now they’ve got different point of view-OK-the way I see it-it’s still win/win all around:).” Strasser made her availability to work quite clear and is open to doing any of the remaining daytime sudsers, primetime or whatever acting gig she’s offered.
