Your favorite soap hopper is back! Roger Howarth — best known for his many unforgettable roles in daytime — is returning to the genre once again. This time, he’ll make his debut as Mitch Bacall, the husband of Sienna Bacall (played by Tamara Braun) on The Young and the Restless.
Soap fans know Howarth well. He shot to fame as Todd Manning on One Life to Live, a role that earned him a Daytime Emmy Award in 1994 and solidified his place as one of the genre’s true icons. After leaving OLTL in 2003, he joined As the World Turns as Paul Ryan, staying with the show until its finale in 2010.
Howarth returned to OLTL in 2011 and later crossed over to General Hospital in 2012. Later, he briefly exited but came back as a brand-new character, Franco, originally created by James Franco. When Franco was written off in 2021, Howarth didn’t stay gone for long — he reappeared just two months later as Austin Gatlin-Holt.
Now, he’s making his next big move — and fans are buzzing. With Mitch and Sienna Bacall stepping onto the scene, there’s no doubt that plenty of drama is ahead.
