General Hospital alum, Ryan Carnes (Lucas Jones) is all set for a leading role in Passion Flix’s The Air He Breathes.

PassionFlix has optioned another book, The Air He Breathes by Brittainy Cherry. In this film, Elizabeth, a young widow still grappling with her husband’s loss, returns home with her daughter, discovering an unpleasant new neighbor. Despite the town’s belief in his dark past, she learns he’s a fellow lost soul drowning in grief. As they share their stories of loss, a tentative friendship turns into a profound romance, deepened by the weight of grief and desire. However, when Elizabeth uncovers the truth about a life-altering car accident, she jeopardizes not only her newfound love but everything dear to her.

Ryan Carnes In New Film “The Air He Breathes”

Carnes is excited to be tackling the role of Tristan. On his Instagram, he announced, “Well, the day has come when I’m finally able to announce that I have the honor and privilege to join @toscamusk’s @passionflix family for the film adaption of @bcherryauthor’s riveting and heart-wrenching “The Air He Breathes.” I can’t wait to step into Tristan’s shoes, under the guidance of our brilliant director @rachelannettehelson. This gonna be a fun one!”

Ryan Carnes is best known for playing the role of Lucas Jones on General Hospital from 2004–2005 and 2014–2020. He made a brief return earlier this year for Jackie Zeman’s tribute episode and Bobbie’s funeral.
