Sarah Joy Brown is celebrating her 48th birthday today!
Sarah was born in Eureka, California on February 18, 1975, and attended The Los Angeles County High School For The Arts as a theatre major. Less than a year after graduation, she was cast as Kaitlin Star on V.R. Troopers and at 21 she landed the role of Carly Benson on General Hospital, a role that would garner her 3 Daytime Emmys.
She appeared on As The World Turns before returning to General Hospital as Claudia Zacchara, a role she earned her 5th Daytime Emmy nomination for. After leaving GH for a second time she appeared on The Bold and the Beautiful and Days of Our Lives. She went on to star in Beacon Hill and Studio City in roles that brought her 2 more Daytime Emmy nominations, for a total of 7 nominations and 3 wins!
Brown has also appeared in over 30 additional TV and movie roles and last year she directed the successful audio drama, Red Riding Hoods. She has a 24-year-old daughter, Jordan, who she loves to spend as much time as possible with.
