Veteran soap alum, Sean Kanan is celebrating his 53rd birthday today! He was born Sean Perelman to Dale and Michele Perelman in Cleveland, Ohio. Kanan has gone on to become one of the most recognizable names in the soap genre thanks to his roles as Jude Cavanaugh on Sunset Beach, AJ Quartermaine on General Hospital, and Deacon Sharpe on The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless.
