Tom Pelphrey spent a number of years thrilling fans, delivering outstanding performances on two CBS daytime sudsers; ‘As the World Turns’ and ‘Guiding Light’. He’s known to many CBS daytime viewers for his roles as; Jonathan Randall on ‘GL’ a role he played from 2004 – 2009 and Mick Dante on ‘As the World Turns’ a role he played from 2009 – 2010.
Pelphrey’s talent was not only recognized by daytime viewers but by many as he received a few Daytime Emmy nominations in the category of Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series, winning twice in 2006 and 2008 for his role on ‘Guiding Light’. Pelphrey since leaving daytime has appeared on a number of primetime series and can be seen on “Iron Fist” as Ward Meachum. He’s also appeared on ‘Banshee’, ‘Chicago PD’, ‘Blue Bloods’, ‘The Good Wife’ and more.
