Sistas Spoilers for November 19: Aaron Proposes to Karen
Karen’s (Ebony Obsidian) life is spinning in a whole new direction, and this time, it might just be for the better. Things between her and Aaron (Kevin A. Walton) are finally calm, even sweet, as the two make plans to pack up and leave Atlanta with their little one. But just when she thinks life can’t surprise her anymore, Aaron goes big. Really big.
In true romantic fashion, he drops to one knee and tells Karen he wants to spend forever making her happy. Then comes the question — will she marry him? Karen’s caught off guard of course, and asks if he’s sure about this life-changing decision. Is he? And more importantly, is she ready to say yes?
Damany Returns
Meanwhile, Sabrina’s (Novi Brown) week is anything but peaceful. Damany (Sharmaarke Purcell) returns, and he’s stirring the pot. He starts talking about getting rid of the embryos. However, Sabrina stands firm.
She reminds him they’re hers and she’s not discarding them, no matter what he says. The tension only gets thicker when she runs into him face-to-face, and his woman steps in, ready to confront her.
Zac and Mr. Keyes
Across town, Zac (Devale Ellis) sits down with Mr. Keyes (Eugene Parker) for another revealing chat about his father. Mr. Keyes drops a bomb: Zac’s dad left Atlanta ten years ago. Hearing that, Zac can’t help but feel the sting. He wonders why his so-called “deadbeat” dad never tried to reach out.
Marcus Wants Danni
Over at the airport, Officer Green’s (Billy Dunston) persistence crosses the line as he corners Danni (Mignon Von) again. She reminds him, politely but firmly, that she’s in a relationship and doesn’t cheat — but he doesn’t seem to care. Talk about not getting the message.
And at the law firm, things take a lighter turn when Hayden (Chris Warren Jr.) introduces himself to a new face. She’s clearly intrigued and asks Fatima (Crystal Renee Hayslett) if he’s single, but Fatima leans in and whispers that she thinks he might be gay. Let’s just say, that crush might be over before it even starts.
Andi Faces Questions
It’s a night full of big questions as Andi (K.J. Smith Black) finds herself under her mom’s microscope. At the office, Valerie Barnes (Dee Freeman) doesn’t hold back, asking her daughter, “Why aren’t you married?”
