Last we saw Ned (Wally Kurth), he was most definitely not in holiday-hosting shape. In fact, he was lying on the ground outside Bobbie’s on General Hospital, clutching his chest after a massive heart attack, while Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) believed Ned was faking it, basically shrugged, and left him to die. Not Drew’s best moment. Luckily, Gio (Giovanni Mazza) and Emma (Braedyn Bruner) came through like true MVPs and found him, and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) did everything she could as they rushed him to the hospital.
After the whole health scare sent Ned straight into surgery, he’s been MIA ever since. Sure, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) has kept everyone updated. And as far as we know, her dad pulled through and is recovering… but whether he’s awake, talking, mobile, or ready to face the Quartermaine clan again has been a big question mark for GH spoilers watchers.
What Happened to Ned on General Hospital?
Well, question answered.
In brand-new first-look photos for the upcoming week courtesy of Soap Opera Digest, we see a very alive, very upright, very non-hospitalized Ned standing in the Quartermaine mansion.
Not only is he home in time for the annual Thanksgiving chaos, but he’s even chatting calmly with Brook Lynn, meaning the Qs must be thrilled to have him back in the fold. Seeing Ned vertical again is the biggest GH spoiler we’ve had in weeks.
That being said, Will Ned spill the beans about Drew leaving him to die?
Let’s just say that’s a whole other pie on the table.
And speaking of the table… once December 1 hits, it’s officially Thanksgiving in the Quartermaine household on General Hospital, which fans know almost never goes as planned.
It seems the Qs are actually trying to get an actual turkey on the table this year. A bold attempt, considering they haven’t managed it in… well, years. At this point, who’s counting?
But will they finally break the legendary Quartermaine turkey curse?
Or will pizza be the emergency backup, as usual?
Either way, it’s shaping up to be a wild, classic Quartermaine Thanksgiving, and Ned’s return just adds another layer of flavor to the drama.
