On April 15, Daniel Goddard made his triumphant return to soaps, officially debuting as the mysteriously charming Professor Henry Dalton on General Hospital. Prior to this, Goddard played the role of Cane Ashby on The Young and the Restless, where he last graced our screens in 2019 — can you believe it?
But now, he’s back, and it’s undeniable that his new character is more than meets the eye. The professor could be harboring secrets since the WSB has got their beady little eyes on him. Dalton, who teaches Environmental Physics at Port Charles University, already caused quite the stir as Emma Scorpio Drake’s favorite professor—so much so that she’s told Gio that she’s madly in love with his class!

And wait for it: Josslyn Jack, our freshly minted WSB agent, has secured her first mission, which is to get close to him and keep a very watchful eye on him. Doing so, she spotted him walking around the hospital and entering a lab labeled “authorized personnel only”—with a mysterious briefcase—one he did not leave the hospital with. What’s in there? We’re on the edge of our seats, popcorn ready, waiting to find out!
The cherry on top of all of this is Daniel Goddard being back on our screens.
