After 10 years, Kelly Sullivan is back in the soap world!
After making her debut last week, Sullivan was back in full swing on the CBS daytime drama. This time, Darcy finally made it to Los Angeles, reunited with her daughter, Melissa Dylan, and met someone she considered pretty famous.
And yes, Darcy wasted absolutely no time making herself at home.

Darcy Dylan Arrives in Los Angeles
In the September 2 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Darcy arrived at her daughter Melissa’s workplace with her bags fully packed and swinging.
Melissa was ecstatic to see her mom.
Darcy was just as happy to be reunited with her daughter, and the mother-daughter duo shared a big hug before sitting down to catch up.
Melissa clearly had plenty to tell her mom about her life in Los Angeles. There was just one problem. Darcy kept getting distracted.
Darcy Has Eyes for Deacon
Deacon entered, and Darcy’s attention immediately shifted.
“Who’s that tall drink of water?” she asked Melissa.
It didn’t take long for Darcy to learn that Deacon is her daughter’s boss and the owner of Bikini. And Darcy wasn’t exactly shy about letting him know she was interested.
When Deacon came over and took her hand for a kiss, Darcy certainly didn’t seem disappointed. Melissa had to point out that her boss was already in a committed relationship.
However, Darcy wasn’t worried. “Honey, there is no ring on his finger,” she fired back. That pretty much tells you everything you need to know about Darcy. She sees something she likes, and she’s going after it.
Then Darcy Meets Katie Logan Spencer
Later, Darcy was enjoying some food and drinks while Melissa once again tried to bring her mom up to speed on everything happening in Los Angeles.
Then Katie Logan Spencer walked in. Darcy’s reaction?
“Oh my God… I knew it. I knew I was going to see someone famous.”
Darcy was completely starstruck over meeting the legendary Katie.
But she would soon discover that Katie wasn’t just some random famous person who happened to know her daughter.
She would soon learn that Katie is the exact reason her daughter asked her to visit Los Angeles in the first place.
Kelly Sullivan Is Already Bringing the Fire
Sullivan clearly hasn’t missed a beat.
Soap fans may remember her as Sage Warner on The Young and the Restless or as Connie Falconeri and Kate Howard on General Hospital.
Those roles clearly prepared her for Darcy. The spunk is there. The sass? Absolutely. The fire? She brought that, too.
Sullivan stepped back into the soap world and immediately looked comfortable doing it. That’s not always easy after spending years away from the genre, but Sullivan has already slipped right back into the rhythm.
Darcy vs. Katie Could Be Fun
We are already loving Kelly Sullivan as Darcy, and we can’t wait to see what she does next—especially when she inevitably clashes with Katie over her daughter.
And if Darcy decides she doesn’t like something Katie has to say about her daughter?
Well, we suspect Darcy isn’t going to quietly sit back and take it. That’s exactly the kind of soap drama we’re here for.
