Soap Opera News has the latest soap opera comings and goings for the week of May 11! Major exits. This week’s news includes some returns on Days of Our Lives, a shocking return on Beyond the Gates, a surprise recast on Young and the Restless, and more. Who’s Coming to Beyond the Gates?
- Pierce Lackey, who has been off the canvas for a minute, is back this week. Lackey returns as Mike Davis when Bill gets an unwelcome blast from the past.
- Alex Cheeks locks in some more scenes as Donnell McBride. In the week’s upcoming episodes, a surprising gesture leaves him emotional.
- Najah Jackson is back as Samantha Richardson. The upcoming episodes feature the Belleclaires battling Nicole and bullying Samantha. Meanwhile, Eva bolsters Samantha, but Tyrell brings her to tears.
- Speaking of Tyrell, that means we are about to see some more of Jaden Lucas Miller.
- Cecelia Specht is back for more drama as Lia Garland, the Chief of Staff at Garland Memorial. This week, Marcel has some questions for her, but she also witnesses a shocking scene at the hospital.
- Jordi Vilasuso locks in more scenes as Grayson Perez.
- Ernestine Johnson is back for more drama as Shanice.
- Robert Christopher Riley locks in some more scenes as Dr. Carlton Fitzgerald.
- Maurice P. Kerry is back on the scene as Randy Parker when Mona’s words really affect him.
- Speaking of Mona, portrayer Karan Kendrick is back on the scene.
- Iona Morris Jackson, who plays the role of Dr. Monica McCormick, is back as Ted enlists her help with Shance.
- Timeca Seretti pops back in as Anastasia.
- Madison Alsobrook, who plays the recurring role of Francesca “Chessie” Belleclaire, is back when her family battles Nicole and bullies Samantha.
- Ivan Moore is back as Dr. Bauer when Anita and Vernon meet to discuss what’s next.
- Kenjah makes more appearances as Madison.
- Malachi Malik is back as Elon. Elon plays a key role in stopping an altercation.
- Ben Gavin will be on as Derek Baldwin when he offers an apology to Ashley.
- Additionally, Darryl W. Handy returns as Marcel Malone.
Comings for Days of Our Lives the Week of May 11
- Stacy Haiduk is back on the scene as Kristen DiMera, as her family is in for quite a shock.
- Thaao Penghlis is back as Tony DiMera.
- Shi Ne Nielson locks in more scenes as Amy Choi. In the upcoming episodes, Amy confronts Holly.
- Richard Wharton makes a return as Dr. Rolf.
- Nikki Crawford locks in more appearances as Lexie Carver.
- To many’s surprise, Julian Barnes, who was last seen as Harold, the DiMera butler, in 2018, made a return to the show this week.
Is Anyone Leaving Days of Our Lives?
Although Lauren Koslow, who plays Kate, is stepping over to The Young and the Restless to temporarily fill in for Jess Walton as Jill, she is still very much a part of Days of Our Lives. This brief stint will not affect her role on the Peacock soap opera.
Who’s Coming to General Hospital?
- James Patrick Stuart makes more appearances as Valentin Cassadine. Things really heat up when Nina attempts to stab him, but ends up stabbing Brennan instead with Drew’s meds.
- Finn Carr will be seen as Rocco Falconeri this week in scenes where his character clashes with Danny.
- Speaking of Danny, that means Asher Antonyzyn is back for these scenes as well.
- Paige Herschell returns as Jacinda Bracken, whom Michael lets in on his grand plan.
- Andrew Hawkes is also back for more appearances as Ross Cullum.
- Rocco will also clash with Charlotte, which means Bluesy Burke is back in the role. Outside of that, Charlotte will also receive some advice from Carly.
The Bold and the Beautiful Comings and Goings
- Jennifer Gareis locks in more scenes as Donna Logan. This week, Donna voices her concerns that Katie is tearing apart their family.
- Delon de Metz brings Zende Forrester back for more scenes. And fans can look for Zende to voice his frustrations.
- Daniel Sean Smith is set to make an appearance on the show as Jesse, a Forrester employee.
Who’s Coming to The Young and the Restless?
- In some surprising casting news, Lauren Koslow is set to temporarily take over the role of Jill Abbott. The character is best known for being played by Jess Walton, who was unable to travel to Los Angeles to film new scenes. While Walton is away, Koslow — who currently recurs as Kate Roberts Brady on Days of Our Lives — will step in for a short time, with her first episode airing on June 25.
- Chris Wenchell, who is a triple-threat as actor, writer, and producer, makes an appearance on Y&R in scenes with Joshua Morrow’s Nick. According to IMDB: Born in Brentwood, New York, American actor and film producer Chris Grant Wenchell began his creative journey on Long Island, where he spent his youth playing soccer, basketball, and performing music. A multi-talented artist, he picked up the saxophone at age 8, later mastering trumpet through high school. Wenchell is credited with shows such as The Rookie, FBI: Most Wanted, Power, and more.
- Roger Howarth is slated for more screen time as Matt Clark.
- Lauralee Bell gets more airtime. She is on as Christine Blair Romalotti, whom Victor recruits in his plot against Phyllis.
- Vivica A. Fox is back this week as Stephanie Simmons.
- Stacy Haiduk is working overtime this week! On top of her Days appearances, she’ll be popping up in Genoa City to stir the pot as Patty Williams.
