Port Charles has several storylines in full gear to close out 2018. Also, we have had a flurry of recasts, comings and goings (Jordan, Valerie, Kristina, TJ). Recently, it was confirmed what had been rumored for a while, that Haley Erin would soon be checking out of General Hospital.
The soap odd makers have Kiki to meet her soap maker and join her ex beau, Morgan, in the great soap by-and-by versus being recast. But we don’t know that for sure. Nor do we know if Kiki will be the only character to die. And do we want to know for sure? Where is the fun in that? It’s more fun, much more fun to speculate.
Oscar has an inoperable brain tumor (soaps as we know aren’t immune to killing off children characters.) To be honest, this is most likely the least likely scenario. However, from a storyline perspective, it can’t be ruled out.
If a character is murdered, then, Faux Kevin, Ryan (Kevin’s evil twin brother) would be high on the list of probable killer’s with multiple potential victims. Felicia, Lulu, Laura and Lucy would be the four ladies in the most danger. Still, with a nut on the loose in Port Charles who knows who he could take out?
Let’s not forget Dr. Bensch is still roaming about with scores to settle. If Dr. Bensch is the killer, that puts Kiki back on top of the most likely to be killed list. At the same time, Dr. Bensch must also have pictures of Monica, Alexis and Elizabeth on his dartboard. Or it could be that during his quest for revenge he gets taken out?
#IfIwrotegh Faux Kevin would go for another try at Felicia but would end up kidnapping Maxie instead. In comes Peter to the rescue, who dies at the hands of Faux Kevin, but gets Maxie to safety first. Then Faux Kevin is killed by the PCPD.
You resolve the #metoo storyline with Dr. Bensch getting ‘justice’ twice. You wouldn’t have a sexual harassment victim killed by her harasser (Kiki). And you can take Peter off canvas, (who hasn’t really connected with the audience) and let him go out in a blaze of hero glory. Finola would slay those scenes i.e. guilt ridden and grieved mother who never got to know her son.
