What a way to start the new year! Congratulations are in order for Steve Burton (Jason Morgan, General Hospital) and his new fiancée, Michelle Lundstrom. Taking to Instagram to announce the big news, Burton simply captioned his reel, “Engaged 1/3/25,” while quoting a popular passage of scripture, from Jeremiah 29:11. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
The reel features a few stills of the proposal and is soundtracked to Peter Cetera’s 1986 hit “Glory of Love.” Several of his GH colleagues jumped into the comment section to congratulate the newly engaged couple.
It was in 2024 that the star confirmed to Daily Drama that he is in a relationship with Michelle Lundstrom, a contestant on the second season of Netflix’s BBQ Showdown. Despite not winning the show, Lundstrom captured the audience’s hearts with her impressive culinary skills. Congratulations to Steve Burton and Michelle!
