Congratulations are in order for Steve Burton (Jason Morgan, General Hospital) and Michelle Lundstrom, who got married this weekend on May 17 in California per PEOPLE.
TAccording to the outlet, the couple exchanged vows in an intimate Orthodox church ceremony, followed by a reception at the scenic Montage Laguna Beach in Laguna Beach, California.
The church ceremony was reserved for immediate family, while the oceanfront reception welcomed 45 close friends and loved ones, including several of Burton’s General Hospital colleagues. “This day isn’t just about a ceremony. It’s the beginning of forever with the love of my life,” Burton told PEOPLE.
The Wedding Day
The wedding party included Lundstrom’s daughters, Lilah and Hannah, along with Burton’s three children—Makena, Brooklyn, and Jack. Among the special guests were General Hospital star Jonathan Jackson (Lucky) and his wife, Lisa Vultaggio, both of whom participated in the bridal party.
The bride’s sister, Janine, served as maid of honor, while Burton’s best friend, Jeremy Ross, stood by his side as best man.
The following day, the newlyweds hosted a relaxed Sunday brunch to continue the celebration. The couple became engaged earlier this year, just four months before their wedding.
Burton previously announced his separation from his wife of 23 years, Sheree Burton, in May 2022. Their divorce was finalized in December 2023.
Now, the happy couple is enjoying a romantic honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii.
