Steve Burton is out at Days of Our Lives! The star who plays Harris Michaels on the show announced his exit today with a link on Instagram.
Burton reprised the role he originated in 1988, on Chapter 2 of the Beyond Salem spin-off before bringing him to the mothership in early 2023. There has been a lot of speculation about what would happen when his one-year contract with Days expired, and today we got our answer from the man himself.
Steve posted a video to the fans on YouTube saying, “Well, I just shot my final scenes here on Days of Our Lives and I just wanna say, thank you so much to the cast, to the crew,” Burton said. “It’s been amazing. I can’t believe it’s been a year already. So, thank you so much to the fans. It’s just, I’m always so full of gratitude. So thank you. Stay tuned.”
