Tainted Dreams, the Emmy-nominated digital series based on the behind-the-scenes antics of a fictional hit TV soap opera, has announced that Seasons 1 and 2 of this hit series will stream on the new (and free) platform Popstar! TV beginning September 23, 2019. Tainted Dreams originally debuted on Amazon Prime in 2016 to a large audience passionate about daytime soap operas. It is still available on Amazon, but has now added PopStar! TV to its platforms. #Tainted Dreams is a steamy dramedy following the cast and crew behind the scenes of a hit TV soap opera called Painted Dreams. It’s filled with lots of twists and turns, current issues and of course all the type of drama we love to see on soaps. The show is filled with iconic stars from daytime as well as few well-known reality and off-Broadways stars. The series was created by Sonia Blangiardo, who is part of the Emmy-winning director team at Days of Our Lives. There will be a bonus episode on Popstar! Popstar! TV is based on the successful POPSTAR! Magazine which is the third-largest female young adult magazine in the United States reaching 4.5 million readers. Expanding the brand’s presence in the media marketplace, Popstar! TV launched a worldwide, ‘24/7’ streaming channel of dramas, comedies, movies, short-form internet sensations, and gossip. The Popstar! TV app is currently available for mobile download and will be available on Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire, Distro TV, STIRR (Sinclair), XUMO, Samsung TV Plus and more before 2020. With the series addition to Popstar! TV’s line-up, a younger demographic will be introduced to the genre for the first time, while current fans of the series have a chance to view a never-before-seen bonus episode.

Tainted Dreams features a cast that includes All My Children veterans Alicia Minshew, Walt Willey, Michael Lowry, Bobbie Eakes, Terri Ivens and the late Larkin Malloy, General Hospital’s Natalia Livingston, As the World Turns’ Colleen Zenk, Austin Peck, Marnie Schulenburg and Kelley Menighan, Guiding Light’s Grant Aleksander, One Life to Live’s Ilene Kristen, Tonja Walker, Nathan Purdee and James DePaiva (plus famed Soap Opera Digest columnist Carolyn Hinsey), Big Brother’s Jessie Godderz, The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Dina Manzo, WWE’s Lisa Marie Varon, Off-Broadway’s Paul Moon, Anthony Wilkinson, Debra Toscano, Brian Patrick Murphy, Brett Douglas, Erik Ransom, and Meagan Robar. 

Emmy-nominated actress Alicia Minshew, who is one of the major characters in Tainted Dreams, states, “I’m excited that our steamy, fun show will be airing on a whole other outlet worldwide!
