There’s no doubt that General Hospital fans miss Tajh Bellow in the role of TJ Ashford.
The actor quickly became a fan favorite after debuting in November 2018, and taking over the role from Tequan Richmond. While Bellow hasn’t been seen on the ABC daytime soap opera since December 2024, fans now have a new opportunity to watch him in action again.
Bellow appears in a new commercial campaign for Credit One Bank, including a four-part digital series where he takes on the role of Alex.
A Reality TV Romance With a Financial Twist
Bellow stars in Credit One Bank’s new reality TV parody campaign, You’re the Credit One for Me.
The series plays out like an episode of The Bachelorette, with leading lady JaNa Craig (known for her time on Love Island USA season 6) searching for her perfect match. However, she’s not interested in flashy cars, expensive watches, or modeling careers.
Instead, she’s looking for a man with an impeccable credit score.
That’s where Alex comes in.
In the parody series, Bellow’s character understands that financial responsibility can be surprisingly attractive.
Tajh Bellow’s Alex Makes a Strong First Impression
Alex wastes no time standing out from the competition.
In the first episode, he steps out of the limo carrying a “bouquet” made entirely of pristine credit card statements. He immediately catches JaNa’s attention when he reveals that he never misses a payment thanks to auto-pay.
It’s exactly the kind of over-the-top humor that makes the series work.
As the competition continues, Alex remains one of the strongest contenders for JaNa’s heart.
Meeting the Parents
The story reaches one of its funniest moments in Episode 3 when JaNa meets Alex’s parents.
When asked what made her fall for him, JaNa admits it’s his smile and the fact that he always pays his monthly minimums.
His mother couldn’t be prouder.
She tells JaNa that she raised him right before turning to her son with a warning: “Don’t mess it up,” because he’s found a good one.
Does Alex Get the Final Rose?
As the series winds down and the competition narrows, Alex and Jackson emerge as the final contenders.
In the end, Alex comes out on top, proving that responsible spending and a healthy credit score can apparently win the day.
Bellow also recently graduated with a Master’s from Loyola Marymount University.
