Braun is no stranger to soap fans. Fans would remember her for her work on some major daytime dramas. She first hit the scene as Carly Corinthos on General Hospital back in 2001, one of several actresses to play the role now held by Laura Wright. From 2017 to 2019, she returned to GH as Dr. Kim Nero.
Over on Days of Our Lives, she’s been popping in and out as Ava Vitali from 2008 all the way through 2025. And from 2008 to 2009, she stepped into the shoes of Reese Williams on All My Children.
Today, she’s a two-time Daytime Emmy winner. She first took home the gold in 2009 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, thanks to her work as Ava on Days. Then, over a decade later, she won the same award in 2020 for playing Dr. Kim Nero on GH.
