On April 1, Tamara Braun took to Instagram to announce that she is leaving Days of our Lives and her role as Ava Vitali. According to her post, her exit will take place on screen this week. Given the show’s advanced tape-to-air schedule, Braun exited the building months ago. She quipped, “I wish this was an April Fool’s Joke but it’s not. This is Ava’s last week on Days. Last couple of days really. Sad but true. I’ve been gone since late July of last year but you can still catch Ava on your screens until April 3rd!”
Braun added, “I miss being with my Days pals. They are a really good group of caring individuals and being with them was a joy. Thanks for all the #love#kindness and #support during Ava’s latest Salem stint.”
As you know, Braun has left the building before and returned, so we assume the door for Ava’s future return will be left open. Tamara Braun has been with the show on and off since 2008, playing both the roles of Taylor Walker and Ava Vitali. The latter is her most noteworthy.
