Tanisha Harper (Jordan Ashford, General Hospital) is celebrating her 39th birthday today!
Model, writer, and actress Tanisha Harper was born on September 18, 1985, in Tokyo, Japan. She kickstarted her career in the entertainment industry as a model with shoots for Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, and Vogue and gracing the runway for the likes of L’Oréal Paris, Oscar de la Renta, and Ralph Lauren just to name a few.
Additionally, the multi-talent Harper has also worked as a freelance journalist and writer for several leading online publications and magazines.
Harper transitioned to acting appearing in commercials, film, and television with film credits including Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Something New and television appearances in The Bold and the Beautiful, Dear White People, and Hacks.
In March 2002, Harper assumed the role of Police Commissioner, Jordan Ashford, on the soap opera General Hospital.
