In a surprise twist to their renewal announcement, CBS revealed that they have renewed The Bold and the Beautiful for not only one but, two more years!





The show will celebrate it’s 35th anniversary this year and Senior Vice President, Daytime Programs, CBS entertainment, Margot Wain, said, “For 35 years The Bold and the Beautiful has been a cornerstone of our #1 Daytime lineup. Congratulations to our talented cast and crew, as well as Bradley Bell, who have made this show a creative and ratings success, and thank you to B&B’s dedicated fans, whose passion for these characters and stories is unrivaled.”




Bradley P. Bell, who not only is the Executive Producer and Headwriter of The Bold and the Beautiful, but also the son of series creators, William J. and Lee Phillip Bell, said, “35 years ago, I would have never imagined what was in store,Since our premiere in 1987, it’s been a fantastic journey and incredible experience for all of us. We would not be here if not for the invaluable support of CBS and our millions of fans around the globe for their loyalty and support.”




This renewal keeps The Bold and Beautiful on the air until 2024, on par with The Young and the Restless which is also renewed through 2024.




The Bold and the Beautiful premiered on March 23, 1987 and has won 100 Daytime Emmy Awards and it the most watched US-based daytime drama in the world. It airs in 100 countries and has million of global viewers.
