Amber Brown is based on the bestselling book of the same title by Paula Danziger. It is a comedy series focusing on a girl who finds her way through art and music in the wake of her parents’ divorce. Carsyn Rose plays Amber Brown, who tries to make sense of her new family dynamic through her sketches and video diary. Sarah Drew plays Amberâs mother Sarah who is a caring mom with strict rules. Brooks plays Sarahâs boyfriend, Max.
