While The Bold and the Beautiful fans are loving Cassandra Creech’s increased screen time as Dr. Grace Buckingham (yay, indeed!), the actress recently took to Instagram to share a deeply personal update — and it’s one that’s sure to tug at your heart.

In a video shared on Instagram, Creech revealed that her mother, Carolyn Creech’s home of 60 years was damaged due to a devastating fire last year. The tragedy hit especially hard, as it wasn’t just her mother’s house — it was also Cassandra’s childhood home.

“Hi, I am Cassandra Creech, and I am organizing this GoFundMe campaign for my mom, Carolyn Creech,” she begins in the video.

She goes on to explain that on March 7, 2024, the home — located in the historic district of Clayton, North Carolina — was severely damaged in what investigators determined was an electrical fire caused by faulty kitchen exhaust wiring. The fire spread quickly through the attic, destroying the bathroom and causing significant damage to the dining room, living room, and master bedroom. The roof and exterior were also badly damaged, and the home is currently uninhabitable.

Creech shared that the house wasn’t just a structure — it was a place filled with memories and creativity. “Growing up in this house, it was a place of freedom and creativity,” she recalled. “Any given afternoon, you could drive by and you could see me on the front porch rehearsing a tap dance routine, or singing at the top of my lungs, Papa, Can You Hear Me?, rehearsing my clarinet for the marching band, or roller skating to Xanadu. Yeah… I was that kid.”

Now, she’s asking fans, friends, and the broader community to help her mother rebuild. A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support Carolyn Creech’s recovery and restoration efforts.
