Coming up next week on The Oval in the seventh episode of season 5, titled Exit Wound, Hunter (Ed Quinn) is on a warpath. He makes accusations about fidelity that could turn the district upside down. Meanwhile, Kareem (Matthew Law) is forcefully taken from the hospital to face Hunter once and for all. Kareem also gets some news from Dale (Derek A. Dixon), who tells him that he quit because when he applied for the job, he didn’t realize he was selling illegal drugs.

Eli reminds Simone that they need to stay focused on achieving their goals.

Desiree (Gissette Valentin) reveals that they are working with the FBI and requests Allan’s assistance. Meanwhile, Kyle (Brad Benedict) is approached by Donald (Lodric D. Collins), who discloses that he fears someone is plotting to harm him.
