It has been 25 years since the initial release of James Cameron’s epic romance/drama tale of the “Titanic”.  “Titanic” was a blockbuster hit and is the third highest-grossing film of all time. The movie is being remastered and will be shown in theaters in 3D, 4K, HDR, and high-frame rate just in time for Valentine’s Day. It will be in theaters on February 10th, 2023.

Eric Braeden (Victor Newman, The Young and the Restless) played John Jacob Astor IV in the film. Astor was a businessman and was the richest person aboard the Titanic.

Braeden had recently shared on Maurice Benard’s (Sonny Corinthos, General Hospital) YouTube Channel, State of Mind, how terrifying it was to film parts of “Titanic”, particularly his drowning scenes. Although those involved in the film took every precaution to make sure the actors were safe, it didn’t prevent Braden from being scared. Accidents can happen and as the water kept rising, Braeden was panicked that something could have happened.

If you happened to miss seeing Braeden in “Titanic” on the big screen, be sure to check it out on February 10th! If you can’t wait that long, the movie is currently on Netflix.
