On June 22, 1987, Jess Walton made her debut as Jill Abbott on The Young and the Restless, taking over the role from Brenda Dickson. Walton has been a part of the series ever since and has received several Daytime Emmy Award nominations for her outstanding portrayal of the role. Through many relationships, her feud with Katherine Chancellor (played by the late Jeanne Cooper), her paternal discovery and illnesses – Walton has delivered outstanding work through the years. Walton won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 1991. Happy 35th anniversary Jess – see some throwback highlights below!
