Jordi Vilasuso (Rey Rosales, The Young and The Restless) and his wife, Kaitlin have a podcast called “Making It Work”. In their most recent episode, “Oh Baby?!?” they discuss the possibility of expanding their family.
The Vilasusos got married in 2012 and they have two daughters together. In the podcast, they discuss their thought process and emotional journey toward having a third child. Initially, they were not on the same page when Kaitlin found out she was pregnant. Unfortunately, three weeks later, Kaitlin miscarried. They discuss how lonely it can feel and what their grief process was like, both individually and as a couple. Jordi talks about how he wanted to make sure his job at Y&R was stable before having another child and then made the realization after being let go from the soap that he wouldn’t want his job to dictate his life. The couple seems to be on the same page today and Jordi talks about the importance of love language and how it factors into couples communicating better.
Their conversation is raw and real; they don’t hold back. Our condolences go out to the Vilasusos for the baby they lost and we send them and their family all of our good wishes and love.
