The Young and the Restless fan favorite, Joshua Morrow (Nick Newman) has something amazing to celebrate today. It was 24 years ago, today, that he debuted on the CBS daytime drama as Nicholas Newman.
Nick was introduced by William J. Bell and was born onscreen in 1988 as the second child of supercouple; Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). The character was portrayed by child actors for 6 years until the show decided to rapidly age the character to a teenager in 1994 when Joshua Morrow was tapped for the role. Since 1994, Morrow has been playing the role and has done a superb job. The character was re-introduced with a purpose of developing a relationship with Sharon (Sharon Case) and today they are regarded as a prominent and popular couple.
The character has been romantically paired with several ladies such as; Avery (ex-Jessica Collins), Chelsea (ex-Melissa Claire Egan), Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), Grace (ex-Jennifer Gareis) and more. He has worked as a Landlord, businessman, nightclub owner, Barista, Magazine owner, Editor-in-chief, and coffeehouse owner.
