‘The Young and the Restless’ is turning up the heat by adding Beyonce’s cousin, Shanica Knowles to the cast. According to Soap Opera Digest, Knowles is set to play Simone, a singer who may be of interest to Devon (Bryton James) in terms of his music business. Knowles has appeared on shows such as; Hannah Montana, Melissa & Joey and Awkward. She will also star in the upcoming film “Kill the Babysitter” along with daytime alums; Brittany Underwood (ex-Langston Wilde, One Life to Live) and Arianne Zucker (ex-Nicole Walker, Days of Our Lives). Knowles will make her first appearance on ‘Y&R’ on February 9, 2018.
