The Young and the Restless has unveiled its fall preview, featuring a special Sharon-centric episode to commemorate Sharon Case’s 30-year milestone on the show.

The upcoming episode scheduled to air on September 27 will focus on Case’s Genoa City journey. In the latest TV Guide magazine issue Sharon Case noted, “It is a Sharon-centric episode, but it ties into what else is going on in the storyline. We still have flashbacks, but it isn’t just a Sharon one-off episode where we’re going to air all my favorite flashbacks,”. What else could be in store?

Before coming to The Young and the Restless, Case portrayed Dawn Winthrop on General Hospital and Debbie Simon on As the World Turns. Her debut as Sharon Newman on the CBS daytime soap opera occurred on September 7, 1994, making her the third actress to take on the role. Her stellar performance earned her the 1999 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. (Photo: JPI)

  1. I think it’s time to end Sharon mental illness. It’s too sad to look at.
