Eric Braeden (Victor Newman, The Young and The Restless) shared on Twitter earlier today that he lost his dear friend, Professor Michael Meyer to Alzheimer’s disease.  Braeden shared, “My oldest friend, Prof Michael Meyer, passed away last week! He was finally released from this dreadful Alzheimer prison! We won the US CHAMPIONSHIP in 1973 together! He played midfield and I right fullback! He was a great intellect &a tough player! RIP my friend! 💪💪💪🙏 “.  Braeden had shared pictures of him visiting Meyer in the past as he battled this horrible disease.  Braeden mentioned that he had discussed their soccer success stories with him before he passed, but sadly wasn’t sure how much of their conversation registered with him.

Our deepest condolences to Braeden as well as all of Meyer’s loved ones during this difficult time.
