Today on The Bold and the Beautiful, September 1: Will and Electra express their love and decide that tonight is the moment they’ve been waiting for. Shiela attempts to talk sense into Luna. The Liam, Hope, and Carter triangle heats up.
B&B Recap September 1: Will and Electra Express Their Love
Will and Electra share a kiss. She tells him she was hoping to keep things lowkey, but he insists they can show the world that nothing else matters. He tells her she’s the only one for him, and as they exchange I love yous.
She tells him she wants to take things slow. They’ve waited so long for this, and she doesn’t want to rush. Nothing is going to spoil it for them. But as she says it, Will flashes back to being in bed with the mystery girl.
Later, wrapped in each other’s arms, Electra looks into Will’s eyes and says she could stare at him all night. She tells him she can’t wait to go all the way with him.
Will looks at Electra and tells her she’s absolutely beautiful. He promises to do everything in his power to protect her heart. They kiss, slowly undress, and get into bed together.
After making love, Electra tells Will that it felt amazing to be with him that way. She says it was worth the wait. She tells him it was meant to be and that she knows she’s the only one for him. Will says he loves her and always will, but the memory of that night with the mystery girl continues to haunt him.
Sheila Tries to Talk Sense Into Luna
Elsewhere, Luna reacts to Sheila’s news; she even calls Electra an uptight prude. Luna says guys don’t want that, and Luna can’t tell which side she’s really on. Sheila assures her she’s on her side, but says she doesn’t want Luna to get hurt. She also tells her that Will loves Electra deeply.
Sheila tells Luna she doesn’t want her to be disappointed if Will and Electra take things to the next level. Luna insists that will never happen, but Sheila gently warns her that, like it or not, it’s happening tonight.
Luna tells Sheila she wishes she could be more supportive. But Sheila reminds her that Will doesn’t even know she exists, and that’s the hard truth.
Luna says Will may not know she’s alive right now, but he will soon. She adds that Li is working on something for her, and once the truth comes out, she’s sure Will will leave Electra. Luna is convinced she deserves Will and plans to be with him. She says nothing will stop her, especially not Electra Forrester.
Liam, Hope, and Carter Love Triangle
Meanwhile, Beth asks her parents if they can really have a picnic. Liam smiles and tells her it’s a date. Hope suggests she and Beth check out dresses and high heels. Beth lights up with excitement. Carter agrees that it’s a great idea and says he’d like a moment alone with Liam.
Once Hope and Beth leave, Carter tells Liam how grateful they are that he’s okay. He says he looks good and that it would have devastated Beth to lose her father. Liam says he’s here to stay this time.
Liam says he’s focused on making the most of life now that he’s been given a second chance. Carter adds that he plans to make the best of things, too—with Hope.
Liam asks Carter if he and Hope have set a wedding date. Carter says no, not yet, but points out that Hope is still wearing his ring. That, to him, means they’re going to get married. As he leaves the office, Carter makes it clear that Liam should back off.
Ivy Talks with Hope
At the design office, Beth makes Hope smile as she twirls around and models dresses for her. Ivy walks in and playfully says no one told her they were expecting royalty today. She admires Beth, then turns to Hope. Ivy says she’s glad she caught her because she’d love to talk about Liam.
Ivy notes that Liam is doing really well, and both she and Hope are happy to see it. As they talk about what a wonderful father Liam is, Ivy brings up that she and Liam were once very close—before kids came into the picture. Hope starts to wonder where Ivy is going with this.
Ivy admits that she still wishes she and Liam could have built a life together. But, she says, there’s only one woman Liam truly wants, and that’s Hope.
Hope wonders where this is coming from. Ivy points out that she went to Liam to tell him how she feels, but him being his usual self, he let her down gently and told her that Hope is the one he wants. While Hope is engaged to Carter, Ivy suggests that she should take this second chance with Liam.
B&B Recap September 1: Beth Makes Liam’s Case
Liam joins Hope and Beth in the design office. Ivy is gone. Beth decides to try on a few outfits and playfully asks her parents not to look. As she heads off, Hope and Liam get a moment alone to talk.
Hope asks what he and Carter talked about. Liam says they talked about the fragility of life and that he respects Carter. He knows Carter wants to marry Hope and believes she’s the one for him. But Liam admits he doesn’t think she belongs with Carter — he believes she belongs with him.
Liam tells her he has a lot of regrets, but his biggest one is letting her go. He promises not to make that mistake again.
Beth runs back over and says this is so much fun. She says she loves being together as a family. “Us too,” Liam replies, his eyes meeting Hope’s.
