Today on The Bold and the Beautiful: Hope confesses everything to Deacon, Ivy pays Liam a visit, and Luna has a plan.

B&B Recap August 27: Sheila Updates Deacon

Sheila jokes that she checked the lost and found no toes. Deacon chuckles, says that’s funny, and adds that he sees what she did there. Then he asks about Electra’s earring. Sheila didn’t find it. Deacon says Electra’s lucky to have someone who actually shows up for her.

Later, Hope visits the restaurant, and Sheila tells her that her engagement ring is absolutely stunning. She asks how the wedding plans are coming along.

Hope tells Sheila she and Carter haven’t made any solid wedding plans yet. Sheila suggests they could have it at Il Giardino—they’ve had a lot of weddings there. Deacon doesn’t want his daughter to rush anything, especially now that Liam’s back in the picture.

Deacon starts questioning Hope, asking what’s really going on. He says he saw the way she reacted earlier when Liam was mentioned. Hope admits she thought he was dying. She thought their daughter was going to grow up without a father. But thank God that’s not happening. She’s just relieved—they’re not losing him after all.

Hope admits the most devastating part was imagining her life without Liam in it.

Deacon asks, now that she knows Liam’s alive… does that change how she feels about her commitment to Carter?

Deacon tells Hope he’s just trying to understand how she really feels about Liam. He wonders if she’s rethinking her engagement to Carter. Deacon says he likes Carter—at least he thinks he does—but he still hurt her.

Hope says they don’t need to go down that road.

Deacon asks her straight out—does Carter make her feel the way Liam does? He knows she still loves Liam.

Ivy Wants to Visit Liam

Electra tells Ivy she’s thinking about inviting Will over to the guest house tonight. Ivy smiles and says it sounds like Electra’s finally ready to be with him.

Electra wonders if she should be worried about Ivy stopping by. Ivy tells her no—there’s no need to worry. She might have plans of her own, possibly with a certain someone. Ivy admits that now that they know Liam’s going to live, she’s thinking of taking action and telling him how she really feels. Electra jokes, “Can you imagine if we both ended up with our own Spencer man?

Katie Advises Will

Will’s at his laptop typing away, but he stops suddenly as memories from his party flash back. He picks up his phone and looks at the text messages from the unknown person. Katie walks in, greets him, and says she wanted to talk more about that night. She asks if he figured out who he was with.

Katie says the more she thinks about it, the angrier she gets, but she doesn’t want to take it out on him. She knows he never would’ve done something like this if he knew it wasn’t Electra. Will gets another message—this one from Electra—saying she wants to see him and that tonight is the night. The night he’s been waiting for.

Will says he doesn’t want her to ever find out what happened. Katie says the other girl must’ve been at the party, knew he had a girlfriend, and took advantage. That’s not okay. She thinks Electra might understand if he told her the truth. But if he decides to keep it to himself, Katie says she’ll support him 100%. She tells him he doesn’t ever have to think about that mystery girl again.

Will notes that the last thing he wants to do is hurt Electra—or keep anything from her. Katie gets it. She says no matter what he decides, she’s there for him. She knows he just wants to leave this behind, where it belongs—in the past.

Electra and Will meet in the design office. She tells him about her plans for tonight. She says it’s going to be a night they’ll never forget. They share a kiss.

Li Checks on Luna

Luna is staring at messages when Li walks in and asks what’s on her phone. Luna brushes it off, saying it’s nothing to worry about. She doesn’t get why she’s making such a big deal about her leaving the other night. Li warns her that if she’s not careful, she could lose everything—her freedom included.

Luna tells Li that she appreciates her trying to protect her, but there’s nothing to worry about—she’s not going to spend the rest of her life in prison. Li reminds her that if people find out she’s alive, she absolutely will. Luna says that’s not going to happen. She’ll make sure of it.

Luuna insists she’s not going back to prison. She believes there are other ways to handle this. Li wonders if she’s hoping for another miracle. Luna says, “Maybe.” Just then, Sheila walks in. Li lights up, says maybe Sheila can talk some sense into their granddaughter, because she’s running out of patience. Li leaves, and Sheila’s left wondering what that was about. Luna explains that her grandmother is worried she’s headed back to prison.

Sheila asks Luna what she’s planning. Luna says she can’t go back to prison—ever. She has a plan, and she’ll do whatever it takes to make sure she never ends up in that hole again.

Liam Updates Bill

At the Spencer estate, Bill grabs breakfast for himself and Liam. Liam’s in a great mood, clearly over the moon. Bill says he just wants him to be happy and have everything he wants. Liam thanks him and admits that what he wants most isn’t something Bill has influence over.

Bill says he’s using every bit of influence he does have to make sure Grace pays dearly. Liam says that’s good, but honestly, that’s not what he was talking about. He’s been thinking about his own future—and he wants that future to be with Hope.

Liam tells Bill that he told Hope he wants a future with her. Bill says that’s a bold move, considering she’s engaged to someone else. Liam says he told her maybe she should take off the ring and end things with Carter.

Later, Bill tells Liam that it’s like he’s a whole new man—like something shifted in him. He mentions the type of drive and energy he’s been showing lately. Liam says it’s because he knows he’s not dead. He’s alive, and it’s time he starts living like it. He’s not sitting on the sidelines anymore. He knows what he wants—and that’s Hope. He’s going to fight for her, for their future, and for their family.

Bill is proud to see his son so determined. He believes Liam will find a way to get through to Hope. Bill even admits that Liam reminds him of himself when he gets fired up—he’s always admired that about him.

Liam says he’s been thinking a lot about how Steffy and Finn have created a stable home for Kelly. He knows he can do the same with Hope and Beth. He’s confident they can be a family again.

B&B Recap August 27: Ivy Visits Liam

There’s a knock at the door. Liam opens it—it’s Ivy. She asks if it’s a bad time. Liam says no, not at all, and invites her in.

Ivy tells him she’s glad he’s okay. She hopes she’s not being too forward, but the thought of losing him made her realize how much he means to her. She says she kept thinking about the beautiful memories they made together, about the genuine connection they shared. She couldn’t stop thinking about it—and it made her realize just how much she misses him.

Now that he’s on the road to a full recovery and hopefully many healthy years ahead, she thinks he should spend that time with someone who truly loves and appreciates him.

Liam nods and says he agrees. Then he gently tells Ivy that Hope is that woman. Ivy’s face falls, and Liam tells her again—Hope is the one he wants.
