Today on The Bold and the Beautiful: Will goes to Sheila, desperate to put together his memories.
B&B Recap August 28: Deacon Advises Hope
Deacon tells Hope that the connection she has with Liam will never truly go away. He reminds her that even though she’s with Carter now, Liam still loves her — and she shouldn’t ignore that. He encourages her to reach out and hold on to it.
Hope shows Deacon her engagement ring and reminds him that she’s set to marry Carter. However, Deacon notes that Beth can finally have both her parents in her life again. He reassures her that now that Steffy and Finn are fully committed, she doesn’t have to worry about Liam… or at least, she shouldn’t.
Deacon suggests that now is the perfect time to take advantage of a second chance with Liam.
Daphne Checks In on Carter
At the office, Carter is lost in thought, flashing back to the moment Hope accepted his marriage proposal. He smiles to himself, completely distracted, until Daphne walks in and notices how far away he seems. When she asks what he’s thinking about, he says it’s his fiancée.
Daphne asks Carter if he and Hope have set a wedding date yet. He says no, but he wants to marry her as soon as possible. Daphne wonders why the rush. Carter insists there’s no hidden reason — he just wants to be with Hope. But Daphne questions if it’s because deep down, he suspects there’s a chance Hope’s heart might be changing.
Carter tells Daphne that Hope has had a lot going on lately — especially when it comes to Liam. Daphne points out that it’s great news that Liam is going to be okay. She reassures Carter that she’s not trying to stir anything up; she just wants to be realistic. She admits she still cares about him, but always reminds herself — and him — that he’s now engaged to someone who already has a family with someone else.
Hope Arrives
Daphne brings up the fact that Hope and Liam were once married, and now Liam is no longer dying. Carter says he knows all of that, but it doesn’t change anything for him. He believes Liam just can’t commit, while he can. Carter says he’s ready to stand by Hope, to build a future with her. He can’t wait to make her his wife, and he truly believes she’s just as committed to him as he is to her.
Just then, Hope walks into the room and overhears the conversation. She steps in and says hello. Daphne greets her and quickly excuses herself. Hope apologizes for interrupting, but Carter tells her he’s actually glad she came in. Now she gets to hear, as many times as it takes, just how much he loves her.
Carter updates Hope that he asked Ridge to be his best man. And after everything they’ve been through, he said yes. He can’t wait to marry Hope and suggests they set a date.
Ivy Gives Liam a Reminder
Ivy tells Liam she always believed they’d get another chance someday. He admits they did share some great times, and when she says it would be nice to have more, he’s clearly touched. But Liam gently tells her that Hope is the woman he wants — even though she’s now engaged to Carter.
Liam tells Ivy that he’s fully aware that Hope is engaged to Carter — and he was the one who encouraged it. But that was when he thought his time was running out of time. He says he was sincere in wanting Hope to be secure and happy, and he still believes Carter is a good man who genuinely cares for her. But now, Liam says Hope is his family, and he can’t just walk away from that.
Liam tells Ivy that she’s amazing — beautiful, talented, and the kind of woman any guy would be lucky to have. He says he’s already lost so much time and missed out on key moments with his family, and he just can’t afford to lose any more.
Ivy smiles, touched, and tells him she really does think he’s a great guy. After everything he’s been through, he deserves all the happiness in the world. But she admits she wishes that happiness could be with her. She says she understands, though, and that she’ll always be cheering for him — and cherishing their memories. There are no hard feelings. She ends by saying that Hope is so lucky to be the love of his life.
Electra Can’t Wait to Get It on with Will
Electra tells Will she understands how excited he must be and says she’s glad they waited and didn’t cross any lines the night of his party. But Will can’t stop thinking about what actually did happen that night. He pulls her into an embrace, conflicted.
Electra notes that Will’s memory of that night is already fuzzy, but can she imagine if something did happen between them. It was one of the most fun nights she’s had in a long time. Will, however, feels embarrassed by how he acted. He wishes badly that she’d come back that night.
Electra tells Will how excited she is to be with him and says that as soon as she’s done with what she has to do, she’s heading over to get the guest house set up for them.
Luna Remains Confident
Luna tells Sheila that night was filled with everything — emotions, memories, confusion. But Sheila warns her not to get her hopes up. If anyone finds out she’s alive, it could destroy everything. Luna says she can’t help but be hopeful. Thanks to Will, she feels like she finally has something real to look forward to.
B&B Recap August 28: Luna’s Grand Plan
Luna tells Sheila the future looks bright. She confesses that Will thinks she’s dead and somehow ended up sleeping with her that night after the party. Luna says she can’t wait for him to realize it was her behind the mask — just so she can see his reaction.
Sheila warns Luna that she’s playing a very dangerous game with her freedom. She reminds her to be extremely careful moving forward. Luna smirks and remembers Li asking i she’s expecting another miracle. She says, “Maybe I am.”
While alone, Luna has memories of sleeping with Will. She rubs her belly as she smiles, as her grand scheme is revealed. Is she hoping to be pregnant with his child?
Ivy Updates Electra
Ivy returns to the office, and Electra immediately asks if she talked to Liam and if she told him she’s back in town. She confirms that she did speak to him and that he was genuinely happy to see her. He was kind and lovely, like always. He even said some really sweet things about her. It was flattering, definitely a little ego boost. But at the end of the day, Hope is the woman he wants.
B&B Recap August 28: Will Questions Sheila
Will heads to Il Giardino and runs into a few people who were at his party. They tell him what a fun night it was and say it’s one they definitely won’t forget. Will walks over to the bar and sees Sheila. She comments on how fitting it is to see him back at the scene of the party.
Will agrees, saying that everyone seemed to have a good time — especially there. It’s a night he definitely won’t forget. Sheila gives him a knowing look and says Sometimes things just happen. Will admits that more happened that night than he ever planned for. He says he’s never done anything like that before and that most of the night is a blur. Will then asks Sheila if she can help fill in the blanks and tell him what really happened.
He questions her and asks if she came into his room that night. She said she didn’t and Will wonders if she knows who did.
